I saw a Kindle yesterday--one of the other TA's had one since he works for Amazon. It's a lot less fugly than it looks in the photos. But he confirmed that the PDF support is kind of pathetic, so I guess you'll have to look elsewhere.

Um, me? =P Glad it's working out for you. I've been feeling the same way since I have to sleep in time to wake up for work. Except this Friday I didn't have that deadline and I watched TED talks for waaay too long and didn't get any work done (i.e. finding a bank).

I can definitely see the uncertainty avoidance index for Japan. The distance they're willing to go to avoid confrontation (uncertainty if you look at it in the right light) is phenomenal—at least from what I hear. It's a bit surprising that China's LTO numbers are noticeably higher than Japan's.

Well, I was usually pretty tired and grumpy from it. Oh well, I'll work on it... so far so good!

I don't know how I would survive on 5-6 hours of sleep on average. I can usually stay up really late for a couple of days, but then I have to crash and recharge. None of this sustained sleep deprivation.

Anyways, I'm glad you reached this decision one way or another. Your future body thanks you. :) Next up…exercise!

Actually, I don't know how I got by with so little sleep either. This term will be an experiment to see how much an an extra hour of sleep every day makes a difference.

Well, when I graduate, school drops off the list, so friends will be in the top 3. =)
